Da mercoledì 17 giungno sono riaperte le visite guidate al Cratere del Vesuvio – Sentiero N. 5 del Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio, secondo nuove modalità di fruizione in linea con quanto stabilito dalle disposizioni sanitarie vigenti, finalizzate al contrasto della diffusione del Covid19. A tale scopo sono state realizzate infrastrutture che agevoleranno la fruizione in sicurezza del sentiero. Tra le novità introdotte, il servizio di Biglietteria sarà effettuato esclusivamente on-line e l’accesso al cratere sarà consentito esclusivamente mediante prenotazione; inoltre, l’acquisto di biglietti sarà nominale. All’atto dell’acquisto, da effettuarsi sulla piattaforma vivaticket, l’utente dovrà prenotare, indicando le proprie generalità, la data e l’ora dell’escursione. L’accesso al Cratere del Vesuvio avverrà attraverso un varco automatico che è stato realizzato presso il Piazzale di Quota 1000 ad Ercolano, dove si dovrà effettuare la timbratura del biglietto, sia in entrata che in uscita. Per garantire modalità di fruizione contingentata, tali da evitare assembramenti di persone e consentire il rispetto del distanziamento sociale, le escursioni guidate prevedono la fruizione esclusivamente in gruppo, di dimensione limitata, con l’utilizzo obbligatorio della mascherina e nel rispetto della distanza di sicurezza. L’accesso sarà consentito esclusivamente per gruppi di 15 visitatori, accompagnati da una guida del Presidio Permanente Vulcano Vesuvio per tutta la durata dell’escursione, con partenza ad intervalli di 15 minuti tra un gruppo e l’altro. Sarà inoltre assicurato un presidio di Pronto soccorso con autoambulanza.
“Abbiamo deciso di provare a trasformate la crisi sanitaria in una occasione di miglioramento ha dichiarato Agostino Casillo, Presidente dell’Ente Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio – infatti le nuove modalità di visita rispondono non solo alle prescrizioni in materia di sicurezza e sanità ma cercano di razionalizzare, migliorare e rendere più confortevole l’escursione al Cratere del Vesuvio. Gruppi più piccoli e prenotazione on line offriranno al visitatore – aggiunge il Presidente – la possibilità di effettuare un’esperienza di fruizione più sicura, ma anche più attenta, avendo la possibilità di poter godere sia delle bellezze del luogo che di un accompagnamento professionale, da parte delle Guide”
“Si tratta di una specie di rivoluzione – ha commentato il Direttore del Parco, Stefano Donati –, per una meta turistica che, a dispetto dei numeri e dell’importanza, era ancora fruita con modalità anacronistiche. Abbiamo, in questo periodo di chiusura forzata, provato a ripensare quel luogo mettendo il visitatore, il turista al centro di tutte le innovazioni introdotte, puntando su ciò che oggi ci consente la tecnologia. Per una fruizione al passo con i tempi, nel rispetto della natura, in modo responsabile”.

For this purpose, infrastructures have been created that will facilitate the safe use of the path. Among the new features introduced, the Ticket service will be carried out exclusively online and access to the crater will be allowed only by booking; in addition, the purchase of tickets will be nominal. At the time of purchase, to be made on the vivaticket platform, the user must book, indicating their personal details, the date and time of the excursion. Access to the Crater of Vesuvius will take place through an automatic gate that was created at the Piazzale di Quota 1000 in Herculaneum, where the ticket must be stamped, both at entry and exit. To guarantee contingent fruition methods, such as to avoid gatherings of people and allow respect for social distancing, guided excursions provide for the use only in groups, of limited size, with the mandatory use of the mask and respecting the safety distance. Access will be allowed only for groups of 15 visitors, accompanied by a guide from the Vesuvius Volcano Permanent Presidio for the entire duration of the excursion, departing at intervals of 15 minutes between one group and another. An emergency room with an ambulance will also be ensured.
